Thursday April 30th - Sunday May 3rd, Buckner, MO @ Milo Farm
Summary
Welcome to a space where healing is gentle, safe, and deeply honoring. Here, body, mind, heart, and spirit are nurtured together, creating a sanctuary that feels like coming home.
In intimate, womb-like gatherings, you are truly seen and supported as you remember your soul’s blueprint and discover the gifts hidden within your wounds.
This work is not only about healing — it’s about awakening your sovereignty, belonging, and fulfillment, so you can step fully into the life you were born to live.
A safe place of belonging is awaiting here for you.
A place where you will be seen, heard, felt and meet what was unmet from the earliest beginnings.
Nearly more than half of all pregnanices are unwanted or unplanned and many births were traumatic.
How we come into the world imprints upon us a template for how we live our lives and relate to others.
Imagine recreating an experience of the felt sense of being born into this world where you are seen, heard, held and met. Maybe coming into this world didn't start out as the best but what if you could rebuild the foundation to one of belonging and connection? What if your early imprints became the catalyst to finding meaning and purpose in your life?
Get away from all the distraction of the world and feel your own heartbeat and soul that called you into this life. Follow the impulse of your soul essence being born through you. Be received and celebrated in a family constellation to support you in meeting your earliest primal needs.
This is your chance to immerse yourself in the depths of discovering more of why you are here, where you came from and where you are going.
Spend time in nature when the trees are blossoming, enjoy nourishing meals in the rolling hills of the countryside and campfires under the stars.
The nurture womb surround is here holding space for you and I'd love for you to be part of it.
Description
As you arrive, there will be a birthing altar that you can contribute small artifacts and pictures of you as a baby and your extended family, which you will take back home with you when you leave.
The bunkhouse is reserved for the women and sleeps 4. There is another bedroom in the airbnb and there are other accomodations for men seperately upon request. We will gather in the living area for our processes, either laying on the floor on mats or the sofa. There will be some guided meditative journeys, and some partner and some group activities.
Then there will be times where you will be on the floor in a cocoon of pillows, surrounded by the group to explore the reenactment of your birth process. You will have the opportunity of receiving touch by others as you desire or via weighted pillows and blankets. You are free to participate or not participate based on what feels comfortable for you.
Grief, sadness, anger, fear, excitement, joy, etc. is welcomed to be expressed through somatic (body-based movements).
There will be little breaks between sessions to absorb, contemplate, and embody what you have experienced so your experience becomes part of you. You will be given a bit of play work to go do on your own to bring it all together.
We will gather for meals around the table in the full chefs kitchen or outside on the balcony overlooking the meadow.
Each night, we will gather around the fire pit for sharing. The first night with heartwarming cocoa and opening ceremony. The last night, drumming (bring your drum or instrument if you have one) and dance if you wish to participate.
Sunday morning will be a celebration of you and your birth as you share your rebirth story of your authentic self.
Benefits
What makes this retreat special
How you come into the world matters—deeply. That’s why this retreat is designed as a peaceful, quiet, womb-like sanctuary where you can safely explore the earliest layers of your story. The group is intentionally kept small (limited to just 6 participants) so you receive personal, attuned support. Being born is a profound experience, and sometimes that means big emotions arise. Here, there is space for all of it.
Just as every baby needs a warm, gentle, noninvasive environment to enter the world, you will be held in a space that mirrors those same qualities: soft, slow, safe, and deeply respectful of your pace. You are supported, nourished, and cared for throughout the entire process.
What truly sets this work apart is the way it bridges worlds.
Unlike most birth-oriented healing processes that focus solely on the physical or emotional aspects, this retreat brings in the pre-birth perspective—connecting your earliest imprints with your soul’s purpose and the meaning behind your journey.
Here, the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions are woven together into one coherent, transformative experience.
This is not just about healing your beginning—
it’s about remembering why you came, what you carry, and who you are becoming.

If we haven't met before... let me introduce myself.
I am Julia Sahalie — known as the Birth Story Midwife - founder of Cosmic Birth. I gently guide souls through the sacred process of being born anew.
Together, we revisit the moment your spirit chose this life, tending to the imprints of conception, womb, and birth, and rewrite your earliest beginnings so you can reclaim your innocence, belonging, and purpose — awakening to the divine blueprint that has always lived within you.
I’ve been featured on 5 different tele-summits such as the “You Wealth Revolution” and “Straight Talk for the Soul” and took each group through a birth re-scripting, generational healing or pre-life journey. I've led 3 one day womb retreats and now I'm offering 4 day retreats.
I facillitate the Coming Home Circle in Kansas City to create a circle for meeting each other’s earliest missing experiences by providing a new family constellation and what was needed at the fundamental roots like attuned presence, connection, consent and support.
While working online has brought whole new possibilities there is nothing that replaces human contact.
My mission is to keep and make birth sacred again by creating such saturating and nourishing experiences you never received as an infant, that you never abandon yourself again.
I grew up with an angry violent and enmeshing father and an absent mother plus I had 2 disabled younger siblings. My religion held a very high focus on the family and while it was very dysfunctional, I worked extremely hard to hold it all together. I learned to betray my own emotions, thoughts, needs and even my body. I gave up my autonomy in order to avoid being beaten and shamed. I lost myself trying to do everything right.
The moment I gave birth to my first child at home with a midwife on my own terms without any interference, I took back a power I didn’t know I had. I was determined to find a way to break the generational cycle of abuse and bring my own children into a loving home. As I had my own children, I realized they were bringing up a lot of unmet needs inside of myself. After decades of trying to “fix” myself; I discovered that I wasn’t broken, I just couldn’t give what I never received.
I believe that repairing attachment means creating and holding a space of presence, attunement and a spirit of welcoming without judgement.
One of my greatest assets is being able to attune to others with what is the missing need at the very root and how to meet the mind, body and spirit. I truly believe that if you’re here looking for a place to belong, it’s because you’re willing enough to be vulnerable to being seen. That takes a lot of courage!
Here’s the secret, repairing attachment patterns isn’t about shifting your mindset blocks because what you thought was messed up about you was just a loving choice of protection and survival. Building secure attachment comes from continuously creating new experiences until your body’s system feels it deep down - not by trying to trick the mind into believing what the body doesn’t feel. That starts by giving yourself permission to be authentic with yourself and others.
I pursued midwifery for over a decade, became a Hypnobabies Hypnosis Instructor, spent 2 1/2 months in Albuquerque NM becoming a certified medical support clinical hypnotherapist, past life and neonatal repressionist, then I became a Life-Between-Lives Facilitator, Intuitive Strategist, Peri/Prenatal Practitioner and now finishing up on Neuraffective Touch.
What I love most about what I do, is I can bridge my love for and expertise in birth with the healing arts. It’s a beautiful marriage. If we can change the way we come into the world - we change the world. We break generational cycles and pass on a legacy of love. I love when a client walks away brighter and lighter and happier to be alive.
When I’m not working, my favorite place to be is chasing waterfalls. I have chased waterfalls from the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina to the Ozarks to Belize and up the pacific northwest to Orcas Island Washington. At home I enjoying the view of the woods and meadows from my deck and jumping on the trampoline at sunset.
